The goal of this meeting is to provide a platform for international interchange on important topics related to HIV interactions with mucosal systems. Topics will include mucosal innate and adaptive immunology, mucosal epithelial barriers, the microbiome, mucosal transmission, and technological advancements in mucosal research.

All of these areas are highly relevant to microbicide development.

There is an international panel of speakers including Dr. Ian McGowan – Chief Scientific Officer, Orion Biotechnology.
